In our pursuit of positive change and progress in Keansburg, it's crucial that we come together as a community and make our voices heard. Two important meetings are on the horizon, and your attendance is more important than ever.

Board of Education Meeting:

  • When: March 19th at 7 PM

  • Where: Bolger Middle School, 100 Palmer Place, Keansburg, NJ 07734

  • Why Attend: With approximately 1,650 students enrolled in the Keansburg School District, it's disheartening to note that only an estimated 2 parents/residents are present at these meetings. Your presence can make a difference in advocating for our students' needs and shaping the future of education in our community. Remember, you don't need to have a student in the school to be a part of the conversation. Attendance doesn't require you to speak; your presence alone shows that the community is here and paying attention.

  • Meeting Agenda: Tentative budget approval and much more..

For those who cannot attend in person, you can still be a part of the meeting by watching the live stream on the BOE YouTube channel.

Borough Council Meeting:

  • When: March 20th at 7 PM

  • Where: Borough Hall, 29 Church St, Keansburg, NJ 07734

  • Why Attend: While attendance is slightly better than at BOE meetings, it's still not where it should be, considering we have over 9,700 residents. These meetings are crucial for understanding and influencing decisions that affect our entire community. Just like with the BOE meeting, your presence at the Borough Council Meeting is a powerful statement that our community is engaged and attentive.

  • Meeting Agenda: Not released

Please note that the Borough Council Meeting is not live-streamed and requires in-person attendance.

The Keansburg ABCs will have representation at both meetings, and we hope to see many more of you there as well. Let's show up for our future and support our education system and community governance. Together, we can make a real difference! If you have a question but cannot attend please submit it via our website contact form and we will try our best to get it answered.
